Critical Gallery will host a discussion event on Turku Day, Sunday, September 20, starting at 15:00, featuring an interview with Sofia Tawast, a Finlandia Prize-winning non-fiction author and journalist.
The event will focus on Tawast’s recently published book *Peukku-Suomi*. Topics of discussion will include the brief history of alpha-PVP in our urban landscape and the distinctive features of Finnish drug culture.
The themes of Tawast’s book relate to Ilkka Sariola’s exhibition *Spes pacis – Hope for Peace*, currently on view at Critical Gallery, and its exploration of social issues and human suffering.
